About Us: St. Bridget's - Kandy, Sri Lanka

My wife Pipi and myself have been running the St. Bridget's Guest House (Country Bungalow) for the past 15 years. I am Sripathi Sinharachchi, an engineer by profession and my wife Pipi is full time occupied with taking care of the guesthouse herself. We have expanded to a 10-room guesthouse and have plans of further expansion in the near future.

The specialty at St. Bridget's is that you can relax in a peaceful, healthy, Pollution free environment. We serve Western and Sri Lankan food with our specialty being the Sri Lankan food prepared by my wife and her staff. Most of our guests say that our food is the best that they have had in Sri Lanka.

You can find recommendations about our guesthouse on the French and Italian language ' Guide Routard' which says that St. Bridgets is the best guesthouse in Kandy. We are also listed in the 'Footprints', an English guidebook and also in the Japanese.
